Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi our tour representative will receive you and and
transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast, you will go for a sightseeing tour of old Delhi that
will include the magnificent Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Rajghat (memorial to
Mahatma Gandhi). Later in the afternoon you will take a tour of New
Delhi covering Humanyun Tomb, Qutab Minar, India Gate, Akshardham
Temple, Birla Mandir, Lotus Temple and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Overnight
will be at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Sariska
After breakfast you will leave Delhi for Sariska (239 km/5 hrs) and
reach there by lunch. On arrival at Sariska you will transfer to the
hotel. Sariska national park is a tiger reserve also known for other
wild animals such as Sambars, Cheetals, Blue bulls, spotted deer, Wild
boards etc. In late afternoon you will go for a jungle safari in
Sariska. Overnight will be at hotel.
Day 04: Sariska
Breakfast follows a jeep safari of the Sariska National Park. You will
continue exploring the wildlife in Sariska for rest of the day.
Overnight will be at hotel.
Day 05: Sariska - Jaipur
It is time now to head for Jaipur, the Pink city. After breakfast you
will drive to Jaipur (111 kms / 3hrs). On your way to Jaipur you will
visit the Amber Fort, once the capital of Kachwaha Rajputs. You will
ascend the amber fort on elephant back like a Maharaja. Overnight stay
will be in hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur- Ranthambore
Breakfast follows a tour of the Pink city covering the City Place, Hawa
Mahal, astronomical Observatory (Jantar Mantar) and the local bazaar. In
afternoon you will be driven to Ranthambore (160 kms/ 3.5 Hrs). Upon
reaching Ranthambore you will check into hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07: Ranthambore
Ranthambore national Park is well known for its tigers and other wild
animals. At Breakfast follows a jeep safari into the Ranthambore
National Park. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 08: Ranthambore- Bharatpur
After breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel and driven to
Bharatpur bird sanctuary also known as Keoladeo Ghana National Park. The
Bharatpur bird sanctuary is known for the migratory birds that visit the
place from as far as Siberia. On arrival at Bharatpur you will transfer
to hotel. In evening you will take a cycle rickshaw tour of the
Bharatpur bird sanctuary and spot the birds including the rare Siberian
cranes. Overnight will be at hotel.
Day 09: Bharatpur - Agra
In morning you will again visit the bird sanctuary and see birds. After
late breakfast you will be driven Agra via Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur
Sikri was once the capital of the Mughal ruler. It is known for some
magnificent monuments such as Buland Darwaza, Darbar-e-Aam, Panch Mahal,
Tansen Seat etc. Late in the afternoon you will reach Agra and visit the
Agra Fort and Taj Mahal. Overnight will be at Hotel.
Day 10: Agra - Khajuraho
You will go for an early morning tour of the Taj Mahal to explore its
beauty in the rising Sun. Later in the afternoon you will catch the
afternoon flight to Khajuraho and transfer to hotel. Khajuraho is known
worldwide for its magnificent temple architecture and sculpture. In
evening you will take a tour of Chandela dynasty temples famous for
their spectacular sculptures and erotic carvings. Overnight stay will be
at hotel.
Day 11: Khajuraho- Bandhavgarh
After breakfast you will drive to the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve (270
kms/6 hrs). Upon arrival you will transfer to the hotel /Jungle Lodge.
In evening you will go for a jeep safari in the Bandhavgarh National
Park. Overnight will be at hotel.
Day 12: Bandhavgarh
You will continue exploring the Bandhavgarh national park on the second
consecutive day on elephant back. Overnight will be at hotel/jungle
lodge.
Day 13: Bandhavgarh- Khajuraho- Delhi
In morning you will drive back to Khajuraho (270 km/ 6 hrs) to get the
connecting flight to Delhi and on arrival, transfer to international
airport for flight to onward destination.
